Spread the kindness you received.
PassTheRAK is an initiative dedicated to spreading random acts of kindness (RAK). Make a kind act, pass on a card, and watch the kindness travel the world.
PassTheRAK is an initiative dedicated to spreading random acts of kindness. The energy and drive of our RAK Tribe is to make a random act of kindness and pass it on. Some people associate giving with money and charity, when in reality it is as broad as your imagination. Start by smiling at a stranger, complimenting someone, or helping a stranger who needs it.
Give a small RAK a day, and if you feel brave, a bigger one. When you make something awesome for someone, you boost your mood and your health, so don't keep that great feeling to yourself. Share it by giving a PassTheRAK card, and keep the kindness flowing. So give, give as much as you can and remember to PassTheRAK.
If you want to live a long and happy life, PassTheRAK is the way. Giving releases a cocktail of well-being, the Happiness Trifecta: dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin. Giving increases these neurochemicals and boosts your mood.
Random acts of kindness are also social: when you smile, the other person's mirror neurons fire and they smile back, creating a positive impact on both of your brains. So PassTheRAK, and keep smiling. It's good for you.
"Giving is the most potent force on the planet… Giving will protect you your whole life long."
"Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more."
If you receive one of these cards: do an awesome RAK, scan the QR code, log your country, then pass the card on to someone else. From that moment the card starts to travel, picking up an act of kindness in every pair of hands it touches. It all started in Edinburgh - help us put the first pins on the map and see how far kindness can travel. Share your story with the world using #passtherak.
Someone hands you a PassTheRAK card - that's your invitation.
Do something kind for someone, then scan the QR code on the card.
Add your act to the journey, then hand the card to your next person.
